I like how she just casually discards the finger in favour of something else. Despite her somewhat innocent nature she still handles the community indifference quite well. Talk about adapting.
She’s dropped her body bag. At some point, she may remember why she brought it. And what the fingers may belong to. And, she may realize she needs a bigger bag.Paper or plastic?
She hears something, but it ain’t Holly. Go on take a look, it may your last. It will be a fair fight, her hands will be on the ladder and Jim has no han… err paws.

Notice Jim’s trail goes off to a corridor to Kirbee’s left, and not up the wall directly in front of her. It’s possible that Kirbee actually hears something up on the next level, and it’s not Jim or Molly.
Look. These guys, lizards too, are all on the other side of the apocalypse…and, likely, have seen more violent death than most. A finger might get an “ew,” but then there’s no reason to hang onto it…
Ok. I am assuming that these people know there poison gasses. (Ya right.) But Jim may just be able to hold his breath for a really long time. Or something. Jut Jim’s trail leads off to one side.
Theoretically. if the gas did not kill him. He could have (Without Fingers) put the ladder back up, climbed up, and toppled the ladder back down. Just quite unlikely.
Now we don’t see a noise “bubble” on the strip. Obviously we do not hear the noise then. And usually being past that fourth wall we are privy to things the characters don’t. Not the other way around.
Wait a minute. I though that was chicks mother. (All these lizards look alike ) (lol) That is Kirbee. The lady who was helping prep Wally for the fight.
Ok George R. Martin and Shakespeare style.Jim drags himself back to chicks home. Kills Chicks Family. Then dies from the gas. Wally is killed in the ring. Sarah realizes she truly loved Jim. Sarah, Holly, and chick commit Suiside. After letting the topsiders know where this town is.
Wow — Aaron is so close to his next Patreon goal (“Tank ‘n’ Tummy”)! Spread the word, let’s make sure our Endtown creator is happy and healthy (and keeps telling his stories — okay, perhaps it is a bit of a selfish motive)! :)
The interesting thing is that Kirbee is sort of going in the same direction that Holly and Chic went. Its entirely possible that Kirbee will actually retrace “Molly’s” steps and tell her that her beloved lunkhead is getting ready to commit suicide by Phil.
I think he mutated again! I think the gas did something to him…..a long time had passed since they used that gas. It could be inert or anything. Now we wait……..
This comic has taught me that anything is possible (Thanks, Aaron!).So… Since Kirbee is on the right trail leading to “Molly” and “The Kid”, Jim may use this opportunity to follow her out of the walls. And once he’s loose…
I am still thinking the Greater Lizardplex area is built around a football stadium or auditorium. The paths under a football stadium bleachers, or a civic auditorium, seem indecipherable until one has worked concessions. Or possibly concerts. Rick Wakeman has a story about how the crew messed with Yes’ appearances on occasion. Wait, you mean in can get there from here? Yeah, they are kinda sorta simple tunnel systems. Subway systems are even better for getting around through, but one really needs a map to figure out all the mechanical and service passageways.
I just noticed Sarah has put the ladder up against the wall. (Shiny! Jerry Jeff Walker) In my experience, ladders like that are pretty heavy, but there is a trick to handling them.
It seems unlikely that im would, or could have put the ladder up. He is probably on the same level as Kirbee is now. hope she does go up the ladder and does(accidentally ) retrace Holly’s steps.I know quick healing happens, but doubt it extends to re-growing missing appendages.

I think Jim may no longer be recognizable as Jim… he may have gained some new killing tools in his madness.

Or the gas is no longer poisonous to him, due to other aspects of the syndrome. Maybe even made him stronger.

“That’s just the Fourth Wall vibrating. Ignore it.”
“Okay. I— Who said that?”
