Je Suis Charlie

Many years ago my good friend and classmate (Malcolm Hancock, MAL) -now deceased-was a popular cartoonist. His opus was HUMPHREY HUSH, Humphrey was an evil (precocious) kid always in trouble. He was playing in his bathtub with boats and one was PT-109. He sunk PT-109 and MAL lost over 1/2 of his newspapers that week and his syndicate cancelled him. He finished his career doing cartoons for Playboy and Penthouse. Good luck WuMo !

Adios WUMO, it’s been a nice ride for the short time I’ve been on board. I am certain this will not go well. At least, by the end of the day, everyone and their dog will have heard of WUMO.

Funny! The only things missing are the weights on his robe. That way the robe won’t ride up as he enters the water. (Just a tip from a preacher’s kid.)

If that was supposed to be a certain prophet, there would be a jihad out on this cartoonist! But, most Christians have a sense of humor.

I’m Christian to the nth degree and find this very funny.

Was Jesus born knowing how to walk, talk and swim? I think not. If I remember correctly, Luke wrote of Jesus growing in knowledgs and wisdom, not that he was born with it.

I actually think that even Jesus would find this funny. But, then again, I may have to go to confession on Saturday afternoon.

I’m Catholic, find it amusing and light hearted, and am sure God might smile at it. After all, didn’t you know that God has a sense of humor? No? Gotta a mirror?

god definitely has a sense of humor. look at the plumbing design on people. he ran the sewage system right through the playground!

I think it’s really funny and it’s sort of in the spirit of “Inherit the mirth”.

Sperry23: It was probably a collision rather than a ramming. It was pitch dark and the primitive radar of the time didn’t pick up plywood very well. If it had, the secondary armament would have been safer than ramming a torpedo boat.
