Guess who’s getting a new dinette set?

BevI love the penguins! Looks like a bunch of Seniors headed for the buffet!

Cora doesn’t get upset about Arnold’s mishaps…she knows he’s a dreamer.

She takes pride in being The Practical One….a supportive mate to (surely) one of the world’s great unsung Philosophers.

She has always been there, to make his dinner, program the VCR….or tell him (again) how to tie his shoes.

And to send him off to work, with a kiss and a meatloaf sandwich…until he retired ….while he, for his part, dutifully showed up every weekday for 27 years at Ballard St. Accounting and Orthopedic Shoes, where he earned a decent, if not above average, salary…with a pension that will at least allow for the occasional “new” used dining table.

Both of them are just waiting for the day the world recognises Arnold’s great Genius.Meanwhile…. today’s lesson is a repeat of an old subject: Cause and Effect.

PS… (before one of you wise guys says it) …please don’t call him Shirley.

Always nice to have the voice of reason. Thanks for the back story SusanSunshine. A little insight explains so much except why anyone let him have a chainsaw.

there will be no… I repeat, NO leg removing of ANY kind with or WITHOUT chainesaws ……(without a permit)

Somewhere else on GoComics today I read a comment that it was so cold out, you needed a chainsaw to cut a fart. I thought that was a pretty funny quip.
