At the 2010 Winter Olympics, the Canadians were forced to admit that the best ice resurfacers are made in the US by Zamboni, the original and still the best.

Zamboni does not sound like a very American name to me.

Happy - Just about any name can be American. Zamboini probably immigrated or came from immigrant parents that came from the same country that gave us Joe DiMaggio, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tommy Lasorda, Lola Brigitta, Annette Funacelli and Frank Sinatra - just to name a few.

Comment on the comic: “…How come this ice water tastes like rubber tires?”

Frank Zamboni, Jr. (1901-1988) was the Italian-American inventor of the ice resurfacer.

Lets not forget Robert Loggia, Dom DeLuise (1933-2009), Danny DeVito, Ralph Macchio, Alan Alda, Ray Romano, Robert DeNiro, Sylvester Stallone, Jon Bon Jovi and Madonna, treBsdrawkcaB.

Don Corleone is my favourite from this list. So Far !!

My earlier comment was intended to highlight the fact that although F. Zamboni is not canadian, he is not 100% american either. For that matter, apart from the indiginous Indian peoples, nobody in America is 100% american.
