Adam: Andre basically cut me off at the coffee shop! Laura: What? Adam: He said he'd serve me, but only lower-fat versions of the drinks and only one bagel a day!! This is a free society! What kind of person does that?? Laura: Um...a friend? Adam: No, no! I'm too worked up for a sweet learning moment yet.

It is none of Andre’s business as to what Adam chooses to eat & drink. Andre can lend a sympathetic ear, maybe suggest low-cal versions, but he cannot cut Adam off, no matter what his personal feelings concerning Adam are. Liberals feel that they can micro-manage your life because they know what is better for you. That is the entire premise of Liberalism. Keep the cattle happy.

Why do people always have to drag politics into everything? Especially people who don’t know how to spell? It’s “meddle”, not “medal”, thank you.

Fat doesn’t make you fat! Sugar does. Introduce Adam to bulletproof coffee. If I were still on caffeine that’s what I’d drink.

Political question follows, please skip if desired, and sorry for the long post.
I got to wondering who complains about whom more. Do we hear more complaints about our first black president (and his family), or more complaints about “The top 1 %”? I tried to find a study done on this, this is all I came up with; an ABC study on differences between right and left.
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/health/2012/09/03/conservatives-and-liberals-have-different-brains-studies-show/
The studies looked at things like differences between groups’ perception of eye movement, and aversion to threatening noises. Researchers also noted that Democrats had larger anterior cingulate cortexes, which are associated with tolerance to uncertainty, while Republicans had larger right amygdalas, which are associated with sensitivity to fear.
Although Markoff concluded the studies combine to mean that the different groups communicate in different ways, psychiatrist Greg Appelbaum said the studies point toward conservatives’ tendency to avoid something called self-harm, while liberals avoid collective group harm.

actually it is kind what Andre did he might risk losing Adam as a customer. I would rather have that kind of merchant. I would do return business. Now a merchant who tells me what my politics need be from either the extreme right or left. Here is your answer i cancel my order if I can’t pay for i ordered and I am out the door to never return. Neither of your political droning is helpful

If Andre were a bartender – no one would complain about him cutting Adam off of anything. other than Andre caring that Adam stays healthy enough to continue coming in and spending money……… Adam will mope and groan for a while… and go back to Andre.
