Good morning all! In three hours, I will be done for the semester, but I am hovering around until Friday. Once I head home, I will likely be even more scarce, unfortunately.

Buenos dias a todo.

Hempler’s Bacon or turkey bacon with home fries and eggs as you like them. Eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon. Hot pepper grits with Spanish Chorizo and scrambled eggs. Belgian waffles with Strawberries and Saskatoon berry syrup. Ribeyes with caramelized onions and sherry sauteed mushrooms. Asparagus quiche. Pirate coffee. Assorted teas Booker’s infused hot chocolate.

i am feeling better, it is intresting how it hurts like hell in the mornings but then feels a lil better then the day before in the mid morning afternoon time.

Home for the whole summer. Working probably 60 hours a week, plus I intend to volunteer at the hospital, and take one, if not two, summer classes. Internet kinda sucks at home too, so I won’t have good access to get here. Tabby, ideally it would feel better every day as you are getting better…

So I guess we won’t see you all summer, is that what you’re saying, adopted son?

That may be the case, I am going to bug my parents for better internet access, but there can be no promises there. Maybe I can pop in during work breaks and say hi.

Well schucks, I sure hope you can pop in. Tell your folks you need better connection to help you with your college “edu ma ca tion”! Or offer to help pay for it while your home, I upgraded ours and it was only $5. more a month.

It is quiet around here. I have dug out and spread fertilizer in our vegetable bed, put Calpril on our lawn, mulched and thought I would check in, but everyone else must be busy too.

okay it is yet another slow day here. sigh!

i have a doc appt tomorrow at 12:30 so i shall see waht they say. i have x-rays only that day.

Good Tabby, x-rays should reveal or not some important info. Good luck sweetie.

Howdy Dry. I just stuck some potatoes, rosemary, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper into the oven to begin dinner. LilG still isn’t home from work. How are you sweetie?

I’m okay Cleo. All you’re having is potatoes? The Master Chef has to be making more than that, surely! :-)

No Tilapia, Salmon, Steaks, meatloaf (SNerk). Somehow, I can’t see you making meatloaf! I love it, especially cold in sandwiches with, yeah, you guessed it, JALAPENO PEPPERS, tomatoes and mayo.

We are going to have lamb with an oxtail red wine demi glace that I made for a dish some months back. We always have a salad which ends our meal. I will leave any veggie to LilG’s opinion. We will either flash fry the lamb in a very hot cast iron skillet or I will BBQ it.

Home and still no word from S. :0(

Cleo, that sounds good! I like lamb! Did you ever do duck? Had some yesterday at a Chines restaurant, good but not great, not like I’m used to !

no she is not home. it is jury selection today. :0( so i am worried.

Why are you worried? Is she going to be on a jury or something else going on? About her son?

dry its for her sons thing. he was killed 3 years ago. they are just now doing the hering.

i am worried bc of all the stress she is under. and i need to know if i am being mom tomorrow or not. i may have to tak the kids to school and day care tomorrow

Isn’t it sad how long it takes to get things accomplished in our SO CALLED legal system! All it does is drag out the victims’ pain for years and years with no real closure!

Dry i never new him, but i have felt the hurt from his murder. They are taking so long to do anything about it, it is terrible. S can not move on till this is settled. What do you do what do you say. all i can do is be there and hold her when she cries, and tell her she is am amazing woman and mom and there was nothing she could have done to change the outcome. all she can do now is raise the boys she has, and teach them to be good kids and love them and make sure they know about there uncle matt. she is hurtting so much.

no S is raising her daughers kids. M just handed them over she has had E since he was born he is 2 now. and T since he was 2 or 3 maybe 4 he is now 8 and d is 5

I don’t mean to intrude. Tabby, you lead a very dramatic life. Stress has got to be your middle name.

Dry, yes I have done duck on several occasions. One of my favorite times was when I smoked it on our smoker and then cooked it afterwards. I love duck. It is so good with wild rice, it’s like they were meant to compliment one another.

I would agree on that Cleo! The duck I had was in an orange sauce, the sauce was very good, the duck was very good, but they left all the fat on it! There was more fat than duck!

Dry the best duck I ever had was at my favorite restaurant, alas now defunct. I had roasted duck served with wild rice pancakes in a blueberry reduction sauce. It was orgasmic. Have I told you that food is my second favorite pastime. LOL

Cleo when you describe it the way you just did, I kind of figured! ROFLMAO!!
