The kids receive no money, yet the “team” does not lose any money, the league makes money, everyone up to and including “Little League Inc.” makes a lot of money and we know that ESPN did not lose a dime on the exploitation of these kids, did I mention that the kids didn’t get a penny?
Our son wanted to play HS basketball, went to a private Catholic prep school that wasn’t cheap and the work was very hard. Guess what: they recruited inner city kids, paid their tuition, gave them passing grades and they all made the basket ball team! Our son didn’t have a chance.

Well, if you truly believe in meritocracy, why wouldn’t you support the surcharge?

The coaches also make money on the backs of kids (but I suppose bio-diversity does require parasites……..)

Boy, this comic is a real exaggeration. Those three kids would not ride the bench, they’d be cut.

Oh well, so much for meritocracy.
