    Hanging them on the fire escape rail for a couple days. If it rains, so much the better!

    Not in my experience: If I leave a pile too long, the stuff on the bottom is the most rank in odor. In fact, because we haven’t been able to get to a laundromat in a month or more, I’ll probably need a gas mask to transfer the wash to a carrier to get it into the car.

    I haven’t been to a dry cleaners in years, luckily hubby doesnt wear suits for his job anymore and I always check my labels before I buy anything.

    I thought dry cleaning was when I use the air hose to get the dust out of things. Or maybe it’s when I happen on a dusty spot and use my shirt to clean it……..
