Never thought about it before, but it is totally true. It happened to me Saturday night when I sat down a plate of cookies and tried to walk away. Someone piped up “I can’t have those unless they are gluten free”. To which I replied,“They are, if you don’t eat them”, then went about my business.
I’ve meet people who’s bodies cannot tolerate gluten, they do not make it an issue unless it becomes one. But the people who are on the fad are a different story.

Have I ever met anyone who, in the first meeting, said they were on a special diet? Boringly yes! Just let me eat what I want and be merry.

My son gets ill when he eats gluten, so he’s kinda obligated to announce it or just not eat anything that looks like it may have wheat, rye or barley.
