So far, all guesses on what The Spirit of Steve Job’s Past iDeas is holding are wrong. It’s a reference for readers who are familiar with the ORIGINAL version of “A Christmas Carol.”

Ah, yes, the hat/extinguisher. Also in the George C. Scott version of the film, with Angela Pleasance as the ghost of Christmas past and Edward Woodward as the ghost of Christmas present.

by the way, I agree. Apple is evil incarnated. It works just like a sect. They came to free everybody from current evil, they are gathered into a brand cult and if you speak wrong of the brand then you are not worthy, and every thing is about defending and justifying the brand. You have to maintain rituals to remain as part of the group, and you have to speak bad of everybody else, which is the enemy. You will see that even before a product is released to the market, or the specifications published, people will start defending it and saying everything else is wrong (even for products where Apple had no experience before). There are even studies that prove that when apple fanboys defend the brand, they use the same brain regions used by people in religious cults, to defend their rituals. It is no coincidence that it is called ‘church of jobs’ (or cult of mac)

The thing about Jobs Is he borrow/stole from other people and turned around and whined when it was done to him.

It’s all a shark tank. Because the players know technology is a billion dollar industry, they play for blood. Why sit around waiting for good ideas? If you happen to see someone else have one, rush it to market first! Jobs played hard.

OK… here is the description of Marley’s ghost from the original text of the story:“The same face: the very same. Marley in his pigtail, usual waistcoat, tights and boots; the tassels on the latter bristling, like his pigtail, and his coat-skirts, and the hair upon his head. The chain he drew was clasped about his middle. It was long, and wound about him like a tail; and it was made (for Scrooge observed it closely) of cash-boxes, keys, padlocks, ledgers, deeds, and heavy purses wrought in steel. His body was transparent, so that Scrooge, observing him, and looking through his waistcoat, could see the two buttons on his coat behind.. Scrooge had often heard it said that Marley had no bowels, but he had never believed it until now..No, nor did he believe it even now. Though he looked the phantom through and through, and saw it standing before him; though he felt the chilling influence of its death-cold eyes; and marked the very texture of the folded kerchief bound about its head and chin, which wrapper he had not observed before: he was still incredulous, and fought against his senses.”Still not sure what that object the ghost of Steve Jobs is carrying might be.
