You kids are simply too dependent on your fancy gadgets. What happens when the computers all finally quit working? You won't know how to live! Sure I will! Look, I've got this great app on my phone. It shows you how to start a fire in sharpen spear points and everything!

Too late Frank – many of them do not know how to live now, even with the gadgets. They simply exist – walking the walk with their heads down.

And what do you do when the phone dies and there is nowhere to reconnect it? How are you then going to figure out how to build a solar panel and wire up a slew of adaptors so you know how to butcher and salt-preserve the deer you just caught? Ha, reminds me of an exchange with some friends, after I’d constructed something particularly useful. They said that I was the handiest person they know, and in the event of zombie apocalypse they’d be coming to hide out at my house, figuring that’d give them the best chance of survival.
I replied: “You do realize I’m a lot less smart without the internet, right?”
