Laura: I love this e-reader. Adam: Great! Laura: No! Bad! I work in a bookstore, Adam! I feel like I'm cheating! Adam: Laura, there's room for both. I love home brewed coffee and specialty drinks from the coffee shop. Laura: That's totally different. Adam: You're right. I need to invent an e-drinker.

Take heart, Laura, studies show that young readers prefer real books. Judging by my 18-year-old, that would be correct. He devours books and thinks my e-reader is for old folks. Funny world, isn’t it?

Keurig is the coffee e-brewer. K-cups with Nuclear coffee would be everything but the doughnut.

Interesting point, Adam. Sadly, it doesn’t change the fact that I HATE E-READERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always said that if somebody invented a coffee drinker we wouldn’t have to go to work at all!

I love my e-reader. And I love real books. There is absolutely no good reason someone can’t like and enjoy both. Not everything has to be a contest!

Major problem with e-readers – in a situation where there is no electricity – say on Long lsland after Sandy – for days and days, one runs out of juice to run the e-reader. Books work fine, no electricity required (alternate lighting available).
Keurig’s new machines only work with licensed Keurig cups. It reads a coding on the cups. No brands that make "K"cups, no use the little plastic cup that lets you use any coffee – only “approved” cups (meaning those of companies that have paid Keurig) will work in the new machines.
