Thunderous claps of violence broke the stillness of the air,One could only hope the present threat would disappearThere really wasn’t time to realize the perfect planThis had to be the moment to enforce a final stand.
A lull in doging hornets caused the bell of hope to ringPerhaps they’ll solve the puzzle and avoid a painful stingA jam in faulty hardware was the catalyst to bringA mournful song to Silver that the fat lady would sing.Kandi’s heart was pounding as she pondered what appearedAn opportunity to end the threat that was so nearShe knew her ancient boyfriend might be hurt beyond repairPerhaps a leap for justice might remove the present fear.
Didn’t Tracy tell Sam to hold his fire because of the people inside? Yet since Sam moved and Sprocket doesn’t have a gun and Silver is holding his who ELSE but Tracy fired those 2 shots that hit against the wall very close to the Randalls in panel 3?

Have you ever seen “Sherlock Holmes In the 22nd Century” by chance? Interesting series.____________________
Given the spread of stuff I tend to reference here, including The Cisco Kid – the opening of which I’d paraphrased above – unsurprisingly the answer is yes …
And the complete 26 episode series is available on DVD for under $10 …
Sherlock Holmes wasn’t the only fictional character to receive a futuristic animated makeover by way of a French co-production …
Phantom 2040
Lots of talent behind the camera, including writers Judith & Garfield Reeves-Stevens, “Aeon Flux” creator Peter Chung, and a diverse, eclectic voice cast which included – among others – Scott Valentine, Margot Kidder, Ron Perlman, Leah Remini, Richard Lynch, Debbie Harry and Paul Williams.
And that’s not even listing some of the usual suspects, such as Mark Hamil, Jeff Bennett, Alan Oppenheime, J.D. Hall and “Pinky & The Brain” co-star Rob Paulson.
I have a lot of catching up to do today! So much action in the strip and another flood of interesting comments to read. Pleased that things went well Avenger09.
Oh, Silver, you bloody fool! If Kandikane doesn’t pop you one with a two-by-four (or some equivalent), Tracy may have a chance to aim and actually shoot straight enough to end your sorry days. in terms of strip strategy, I suppose this Battle in the Warehouse could be dragged out to next weekend, but it does look ripe for a quick finish!
You guys know that YOU pay THEM for the privilege of posting your “Sherps” ?
That would only be an issue to me if I actually had any “Sherps” to post. If I did, though, I would consider it. You’re not going to be able to post it anywhere reliable in an organized way for free, anyway.
Theoretically, they will help to get you readers by having your link on a site that has comic-loving readers, though I don’t know how effective that really is. Theoretically, it allows to to get feedback, though I don’t see any comment forms or other ways to easily give feedback. There is (or was) also “EDITOR’S PICK provides a constantly-updated selection of individual Sherpa strips and panels that for one reason or another caught the fancy of our editors.” They did constantly update that until April 1, 2013, when updates abruptly stopped. So, the hosting fee isn’t unreasonable, but I’m not sure they are doing all they can to make the service worthwhile.
She hears that clicking and knows Silver’s out of ammo. She’s gonna clobber him with something.
The clicking only means that the machine gun jammed again. He still has a loaded pistol. As for clobbering him, it’s too bad she doesn’t have a 70-lb. film can handy. (At least I don’t think she has. On the other hand, it is a theatre supply warehouse, but I’m just kidding about that. It would be pretty weird if she hit him with a film can. Beside, I don’t think she’s as strong as Sprocket.)
@avenger09 What’s with the surgery? I hadn’t heard and asked you earlier. What happen to you that required surgery? Hope you are better, anyway! It wasn’t Friday the thirteenth-related, was it?
For those who didn’t see my post a couple of weeks ago I had a fight with the sun and lost! Had to remove some areas of skin cancer before things got worse. Should be fine now. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. A special THANK YOU to Morrow for the shipment of Texas goat milk! it was fabulous! LOL!

Attention to Detail …
Both Sam and Tracy are wearing Ear Buds with Built-In Microphones.
Somehow, I feel Mr. Gould would be tickled pink by that.

So where’s Dick Tracy, 2056?
You know we want it, right?
AnyFace over 9 years ago
Mind you, for good or ill, a futuristic Dick Tracy would probably end up looking more like this …
Or this …
Or – Shudder – this …
We should only be so lucky that it look this good …

And for the anime contingent, “Tracy, 2056” might end up looking something like this …
