Mona Liza
- what does actually happen if you're caught between the moon and NYC?
- why did Mommy put Toto in the freezer?
- I'll never forget my romantic honeymoon night with Peter Allen
- For the last time its with a "Z"
Ah, Google tells me that Peter Allen was an Australian songwriter and entertainer, and that he was married to Liza Minnelli. Now I just need to figure out the moon-NYC and Toto-freezer connections.
Liza supposedly found out on her honeymoon that Peter Allen was gay… she famously said “Everybody knew but me.”
That’s why the “romantic honeymoon” remark.
Her well-known and much lauded 1970’s TV special was called “Liza with a Z”.
And no matter what people say about her, and in spite of her crazy life and substance abuse problems,
she will always be a big star to me.
She did a memorable job as Junie Moon, in "Tell me That You Love Me, Junie Moon…But what she’s best known for is probably that she played…. or she was.. Sally Bowles in “Cabaret”… which is on my short list of greatest movies and greatest roles ever… I also saw her live one time back in the late 70’s…an incredible performer…and a fantastic show.

A “romantic” night with Peter Allen wouldn’t make anybody smile—laugh fit to bust, maybe…….

Probably Liza’s most memorable role was on “Arrested Development”, which, come to think of it, says a lot……..

Liza’s mother was Judy Garland – played Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz classic – however, I don’t know what the freezer is referring to
