Philadelphia should embrace the 76ers as Chicago embraces the Cubs. Like with the Cubs, go to the game expecting them to lose thus, with no expectations other than loss, there is never disappointment. Go to the Sixers games if your life is in a total shambles and you want an ego boost.
I hate the Phillies, the Flyers, the Eagles, and the 76ers. The only things I’ve ever been able to stand about Philadelphia are the cheesesteaks and Ben Franklin.

Keep in mind that in ’74 they only won 9 games and two years later they were in the NBA finals. Things can turn quickly in that league.

Healthier than 76 cheesesteaks. Not better. Healthier. All the way? Yes, please :)

Things were bad enough for the 76ers, and then their two best players were traded away!Hmmmm…did somebody mention cheesesteks? I’ll have mine with.

I lived in Philly during the early Dr.J years, 1974-77. Philly is always an NBA Championship town to me.

The NBA does have a parity issue, a couple of star players can really impact a team’s performance.
