Funny thing is that I haven’t seen canned pet food that requires a can opener for a long time. I don’t use an electric can opener anyway. The cats have learned about foil tops and pop tops though. The dog listens for the last scrapings on the plate and comes running.
I have 4 cats who will not eat canned food, only dry. The closest they come to wet is the water (juice) from the tuna can, and they sure do come arunnin’ when they hear that sound. Of course, they cant’s tell the difference if I’, opening water chestnuts, bean sprouts or tuna. I really do enjoy this strip.
I food dry food free choice, and wet food once a day. I used to feed them in the morning, and they would wake me up with the sunrise (5:30 In the summertime). Now I feed them in the evening, and they go berserk when the 6:00 news comes on.
