In the end the chicken is still dead…being eaten. So what’s the point? I’ll eat it no matter where it was hatched and raised. I’d rather pay the lower price though. Free range is just a way to get more money out of the guilt free people.
Well, we all end up dead, but I’d rather have a pleasant life where I have some room to move around than be crammed into a cell with fifty other people all my life. Besides, disease tends to run through the chicken mills because they’re all crammed in so tight – despite all the drugs that’ve pumped into them.
unhealthy birds and/or animals do not produce and/or reproduce. Disease does not run rampant in chicken houses. They are some of the cleanest places on a farm. Temperature controlled and free of predators. Visit a poultry farm sometime and see for yourself. Don’t take my word for it. And please don’t take pETA’s word for it either……
Today it is Survival of the Fittest and, as Mark Twain observed, “In nature there are no indecencies”. So what is there to bitch about, if you want organic, buy from those who sell organic or perhaps raise your own. For those who—for whatever reason(s)—can’t afford, don’t’ have access too, etc., then either change how you spend/earn your money, move to where it is not an issue, or grow-up and learn to accept your position in life. Don’t expect to steal from the rich (Demonic Socialism) in order to make up for your failures/position in life…regardless of the cause or reason…its survival of the fittest and Nature doesn’t care what indecencies you use to get to the top and stay there, just look at the Cheney’s the Bush’s and the Koch Brothers. Law and order, status-quo, and your position/class in life, whether upper or lower—screw the middle & working class—is all that really matters. There will always be the begging poor to shine our shoes and clean up after us.
