Well, the Easter Bunnies at the mall might. They were around when I was little, but I never visited them or Santa. Celebrated both holidays, including their visits and the religious side. Mom and Dad couldn’t take the lines and I couldn’t take the costumed figures, so I don’t know if they do or not
My dad loved to invent characters and to story tell. When he read a book to us, he read like a practiced thespian. He spoke with accents, changed the pitch of his voice, and made fairy tales come alive. When I did this strip, my dad had been gone for a number of years. I was able to bring him to life again by writing and drawing short vignettes like this one. It would have been just like Dad to call and pretend to be the Easter Bunny!
" ….. Is a talking Easter Bunny the tradition with anyone else?"~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Not at our house. We were simply amazed that he could get the eggs hidden and get away before anyone saw him!And we didn’t think of Easter as anything but the day we found finding colored eggs and eating chocolate bunnies. My Mom never tried to brainwash me. I think she was a believer, but she let me form my own beliefs. And for this, I thank her profusely..
The reason I don’t observe those holidays is because I’m a Christian. All of the traditions associated with those holidays are pagan. There is no biblical reason to observe “Christmas” in the first place, and Passover has been hijacked by a completely pagan event called “Easter”.

I would be branded a horrible parent if I had any children. We simply would not be observing Easter or Christmas.

I love the spiral stretch phone cord!! I’m 31, my parents used that a long time. Phone never died, and we always knew where it was!!
