In legal circles, this is what is technically known as the BP defense.
I thought BP was using the tried and true SOD defense. Some Other Dude did it.
There was a Monty Python sketch in which a judge was on trial; when asked how he pleaded, he said, “Not guilty, case not proven, court adjourned,” and everyone started to leave.
It’s in the same episode as the “Spanish Inquisition” sketch.
I notice the judge has on dark glasses….does that mean that justice is blind?
