A mouse has more bones than a human- 225 vs. 206! Lively libation! The fizzy sensation from carbonated beverages is the actual taste of carbon dioxide- not tiny bubbles popping! Every day, up to 30 freight trains roll straight down Main Street in the small town of La Grange, Kentucky.

How small is that Kentucky town that has about 30 passing freight trains? Must not be easy for the townsfolk to get some sleep at night.

Then why can’t I taste it when my soda’s flat?

‘cause it’s not there.

I’m guessing that tails account for the extra mouse bones.

La grange, Ky – been there (visiting brother-in-law) You just have to be careful where you park downtown or you might return to find your car “moved!”Also, near there a few years back, there was a grade crossing that a limo – with long wheelbase- got hung up on. Unpleasant result!

Back in the day we lived about four blocks from a switch yard. The old steam engines would slip their drive wheels when trying to get a string moving. Got used to it.

I lived 7 blocks away from the Santa Fe/Southern Pacific tracks..In the 1960’s, during citrus season under certain weather conditions,I could hear the freight trains clickity clack and smell the tons of oranges, grapefruit, and lemons as the train made its way west towards Los Angeles..

I was looking for an apartment a good while ago and, while looking at one that was about 20’ from train tracks asked the landlord if the trains went by often and were loud. I don’t know what she said because a train happened to go by and I couldn’t hear a word. (I didn’t rent it.)

Obviously mice are superior with all those bones.
