Surprise from the past! Andrijana Mitrovic from Gmunden, Austria, narrowly escaped injury when a World War II era grenade that was hidden in a log exploded in her wood-burning stove in December 2014. Banned in the US, truckloads of the caffeinated adult beverage Four Loko were recycled into car fuel. It is possible to walk over a bed of coals as hot as 932F (500C) totally unscathed!

And the real estate agent didn’t even bother to notice the grenade when Ms. Mitrovic was shown around the house?

I’m pretty sure it’s possible to walk over a bed of coals as hot as 500 C and be TOTALLY SCATHED, too. – worth mentioning?

The way to walk over hot coals and not be scathed, is to wear fire proof shoes!

Taurine is essential for cats, but I doubt they would drink that cr*p.

From the news report about it, it seems that over the years the grenade had lost most of it power. That is why she was not killed.http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/12/01/boom-firewood-contains-world-war-ii-grenade-explodes-in-wood-stove-no-one-hurt/

I’ve read that the hot coals build up a thick layer of ash that keep one’s feet from burning.(I’m still not going to try it, though.)
