plus4: Long ago, cartoonists would build a backlog of new strips to run while they were on vacation, in hospital, etc. Then they would repeat an old week or two with an explanation over the strip. Now they just recycle when they can’t think of a new one, can’t be bothered, etc.

Being a repeat makes it even sadder that Vern hadn’t learned church sanctuaries have ceilings…
