an explanation: this literally happened to me when i was doing some home improvements. i was buying fencing and didn’t have a truck to get the 8ft by 8 ft pieces home. the windows in my car are usually down…even in cold weather… i like fresh air. so, i tied the fencing to the roof of my car, stringing the twine through the open windows… i was so concerned about making sure the fence was secure to the car that i didn’t even realize i had tied my car shut. so, instead of cutting the twine and starting over, i just got into the driver’s side dukes of hazzard style. i’m sure the people in charge of the parking lot security cameras are still laughing at that one.

How else would you have closed the doors?

Tie the ropes AFTER you close the doors, untie them Before you get out.

This exact same thing happened to me this year. Glad I’m not the only one.
