Dittos to the rescue!

Well, I believe I got it mostly right! ;-)

No one said this was a tag-team fight!

Ha! Dittoes to the rescue! will there soon be a litter of Wally’s?It makes one wonder, how much of this is real?perhaps this has all been an elaborate illusion created by the dittoes.And to what ends do they work towards?Do you want the red pill or the blue?

Well the dittos have split into at least two groups. And seem to be communicating over distance. Wonder what else they will be up to?

Obviously, Wally is a Displacer kitty. Check your monster manual, Phil!

I for one, welcome our new cat overlords.

At least some of the lizards will recognize dittos at work. Even so…unless they have some kind of countermeasures (like Petey’s when he was a PT), what can they do? Now…are the dittos working independently to save Wally, or working with Wally?

Is that Sarah in the third panel? I had seen the same curly haired lizard in the audience in a previous strip, so I’m suspecting that this is our Sarah Battle in the colony’s standard garb.

So far Aaron is being much more inventive than my attempts at guessing how this plot would go. I was pleasantly surprised when the thing attacking Kirbee was just angry dittos that were willing to listen to Holly. I had also imagined that the dittos might render Wally invisible, but hadn’t imagined the possibility of multiple Wallys.

Well, Mr. Neathery has pulled off another twist that no one forecast! Speculate all we may, he’s always many steps ahead of us.

Whoa…didn’t see that coming.

Think of how much fun, er, difficulty it’ll be when Holly has to figure out which one is which…

I’m wondering if the dittos are manifestations of or are nano devices possessed by the souls of the pre-apocalypse world of Endtown. Did the Endtown dittos recruit the lizard town dittos? They didn’t seem to be on good communicating terms at first.

To quote an old joke “Watch out, there’s two of them!”

I think this put the issue of the dittos struggling with each other some time back. Wally’s dittos were struggling with the Lizard dittos……I think the dittos have made up their minds on who they like more.

Oooh! My turn to guess.

I guess that the dittoes will somehow show Wally that Holly is alive and reasonably well. Then Wally will go about making himself a pair of Phil-the-Reptile-brand boots and a matching belt.

Mr. Neathery… I must once again congratulate you for your creative genius. Not only have you boggled the minds of pretty much the entire lizard population, but you have also surprised me as well. …I did not…see that…coming…at all!…As a devoted fan, I humbly ask that you keep doing what you’re doing, because you’re doing fantastic work!

this is a good move. I bet the dittos could sense that the lizards are the bad guys. I wonder when Wally will open his eyes and see his ditto double. Probably he will hear or sense the reaction of the crowd.I hope they can communicate about Holly. The plot thickens again!I’m so impressed by this story!Oh, I have only seen 1 lizard with dark curly hair, so she, if she wants to be a leader, donning local garb would be useful.

The Dittos could be an example of “hive” intelligence as has been referenced in a number of science fiction stories. One by itself isn’t intelligent, but together, they could combine into a lot of brain power.

Well. I had predicted Daffy Duck.

Siamese twins?

Mallard may have something to do with this. He probably has dittos in Endtown in communication with Wally’s dittos and keeping track of the travelers. If Wally’s dittos were following everyone, Mallard could know everyone (but Jim) was safe and have the dittos intervene.
