Is it possible to find “Seven Samurai” in a dub… even on YouTube?
I’m on your side, Zack!
He stands and reads his phone text all day long but has a problem with a movie in caption? what the letters too large?
@blunebottle
Me and 1/3 of the world that is hard of hearing or deaf use close caption even on english spoken TV shows.
Great movie…haven’t read it for years.
Agreed Zack.
Cue the music to The Magnificent Seven, the western remake.
Seven Samurai is one of my all time favorites. If you can’t read the subtitles while catching the action you aren’t trying very hard.
DUBBED??? I can’t watch a dubbed movie for anything!
True, a great film, but try Kobayashi’s 1962 “Harakiri” (AKA “Seppuku”). One review at the time compared it to Shakespeare and Sophocles in its power.
Most Marlon Brando films should be dubbed, unless you speak " Malon" as a second language. “The MissouriBreaks” from the mid 1970’s is a good example.
There aren’t even a lot of subtitles (if any) during the action. When they talk, they talk usually sitting down.
Great movie. Sooo many parodies, remakes, and themes used from it.
