Peekaboo, this counter is for unloading groceries and preparing meals...it's a parking lot for mixing bowls and pots and pans! We look silly...and out of place up here! Only had to do this once with my cat. Took aluminum foil the length of the counter, kinda wrinkled it up and then spread it back out to where there were a few hills and valleys still left in the foil. Put it down on the counter and he tried jumping up there, landed on the foil, jumped off and that’s it.

i could see my nephew doing that before he got tall. we swore he’d been a cat in a past life given a lot of his behavior.one of his favorite napping places when i was looking after him was by the door in the sun. did i mention this was a place of business? oh well, nobody ever actually tripped over him. but i think i get the doting aunt prize
