You seem to have no knowledge of the culture of poverty. Hopefully, you and yours will never be in that position, but you should educate yourself on how people end up poor and what their life is like. They are not all lazy and stupid anymore than the non poor.
Well… I have done my part to defend the ongoing poverty programs and insistence that overpopulation is the main cause of poverty. I guess I should have known that seventy years of human stupidity couldn’t be explained away so easily, or attributed to only one, or even every other administration. But still, the economy is improving by all accounts, so if your wages haven’t doubled like the cost of food and energy have done in the past ten years, then I guess I have no explanation for why you aren’t better off now that you were then.
Polar bears are suffering from population pressure as their numbers increase.Their habitat has been decreasing for ten thousand years and will continue to do so for at least another thousand or so.Our world economy has been spiraling downward for decades, while policies and programs have been subsidizing poverty rather that the increase of real wealth, such as food, shelter and other necessary consumable goods and services. I understand that it is neither the Democrats nor the Republicans destroying the wealth of the world, but the lack of labor towards producing the wealth while chasing monetary gains that inflate currency. The government inflates its budget by a minimum 10% every year, and the economy follows, but you and I do not. Only the government can demand an annual 10% raise and produce absolutely nothing to justify that expense. You or I would be fired.

I’d make a joke about a bi-polar bear, but it’s been done.
As for people who demonize Republicans, do they ever actually know any?

@ pschearar: I demonize Republicans because I know some. A lot, actually - I’ve only lived in Red States.
