“…has from the shop the glass blowers up…” What a wonderful reminder of the days when English was learned from those whose syntax was still from another language! In this case, Yiddish, perhaps? One of the richest, most colorful, expressive languages ever which has woven its way into our own. I’m so glad there are those preserving it. Absolutely wonderful!
