Transcript:
Phoebe: I didn't think unicorns were real!
Marigold: We keep a low profile. Our magic allows us to pass largely undetected.
Phoebe: I do that at school.
Marigold: We will have to exchange tips.
Something only JUST occurred to me. If unicorn magic helps them go undetected, how did Phoebe detect Marigold? Or maybe the question should be “Why wasn’t Phoebe’s reaction upon seeing Marigold more like ‘Oh look, I hit a unicorn with that stone. Sorry unicorn, my bad! Well, I’m bored. Nothing remotely interesting going on here. Think I’ll go get something to eat…”
I find it interesting to read the new strips where all the things we’ve become so familiar with are going to be totally new to the new audience…
I’m wondering what happens with newspapers that add the strip later? Their readers will have to jump right in wherever it happens to be, I suppose… Oh, and buy the books :)
Given that aren’t that many unicorn horns laying around I assume that there were not many virgins around. :-) "I’ve been a ba-a-d boy. " – Lou Costello
