So if there is intelligent life out there watching us, why don’t we hear them laughing?

I’ll go with the “unicorns are surprisingly unimaginative” bit, Phoebe.

I’ve only noticed this in the last couple days, but for a unicorn Marigold has an EXTREMELY long tail. I wonder if she can pick things up with it.

Today’s Soup to Nuts is worth a read.

On other life out there.

If the are not as “developed” as we are, they can’t contact us. If they developed past our present stage they have blown themselves up.

If the aliens are monitoring the broadcasts we send out, they would not be laughing. They would put up quarantine signs all over the Earth.

There is something about standing in a quiet spot absorbing the stars that makes you feel your connection with what’s out there. Thank you, DS.

I think Bill Watterson said it best, via Calvin…“Sometimes I think the surest sign that there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has ever tried to contact us.”

Alone is relative.
