Depends. “Nerd” is one of those words that were invented as an insult, but then appropriated. That doesn’t change that some people still use it as an insult. I’d agree that Phoebe should take the epithet and embrace it, but it isn’t easy to turn it around like that.
I recently stumbled on Ozy and Millie, Dana’s old project, and I must say… while I love Phoebe and Her Unicorn, Ozy and Millie was way better. Comedy gold.
