I can remember when I’d have to note the word and then ride my bike 10 minutes to the library to look it up. Of course that was only if I could not ignore the word. My kids got ‘high tech’. We had an multi-volume Encyclopedia in its own bookcase.

after 25 years of bookselling, it just dawned on me. harlequin is a weird name for a romance publisher. how did that happen, anyway?
