For all we know, this could be a crossover/reprisal strip.They could be having a pillow fight with Millie!

Due to censorship laws, they had to balck out Phoebe in the bathtub today.

I’ve seen a black screen before, but it usually would reveal the actual cartoon after going back to the previous day for a moment and then back to the current day. This time, it remains all blacked out. :( Hope they fix it soon.

If I weren’t a fan of this comic I’d have said “Best strip ever!” but honestly, I LIKE the series and wish there’d been a strip today.

I’ll have to check back later :-(

I especially like the “collectible archive quality print” of today’s blackout strip. Wondering if they’re getting any orders…

Like this totally doesn’t copy Calvin and Hobbes. For all you saying this garbage borrows some ideas from C&H but also is original, it barely creates its own ideas without copying.

Panels 3 and 4 are reversed from the original. When Phoebe asks “Why?” in panel 2, Marigold answers “Out here there are unicorns” in panel 4, then Phoebe replies “In here it is warm” in panel 3. Then the panel 5 payoff joke works better. Don’t know the panels got mixed up in this repeat. Maybe it something to do with the black screen people saw earlier today. I didn’t look at it until 7:30PM.

Now that the strip is up: I have to wonder about the blanket. Phoebe is into ‘Pastel Unicorns’ but all of those are white and look like Marigold. I can’t help but see mom bringing it home and wonder exactly how they reacted . . .

The shading on the first panel makes it look like Phoebe has a five o’clock shadow.

I see now.

Ah yes, the two middle panels are mixed up, but they’re both oh so cute. Makes me want to get comfy under my own covers myself!
