..the view of this law that I am getting from Ohioians is that if people aren’t doing anything illegal that they have nothing to worry about,except for Obama taking away their guns and those !@#$ sobriety checkpoints …

Back in the 60s they profiled longhairs and made them produce draft cards. They deported us temporarily to Vietnam. Then we were labeled Baby Killers by the liberals but they let us work low paying jobs because the draft dodgers had taken all the good ones. These were American citizens.Guess we should have carried our papers.

The treatment of returning Vietnam Vets was stupid and shameful. Liberals and progressives should have know better. The anger should have been directed exclusively to those who prolonged the war.

Nobody’s taking away anyone’s guns. That claim is just another red herring.

And the “if you not doing anything wrong you have nothing to fear” justification is a crock.

I’m an Ohioan (although not “native” born) and I think that sobriety “checkpoints” are just as unconstitutional as any other kind of unwarranted search. I don’t understand why there hasn’t been a suit filed against the practice.
