I’ve only worked since I was 12 and I’m now 59 so I apparently missed all that great stuff the Gov was dong for me while the insurance co. crippled our business, the oil company ran the prices up for no reason and the farms and factories let in all the illegals to do the “lowly” jobs. WHAT government controls were you talking about?
Hi freeholder: Thank you. Did the same only I am now 63. Also did a bunch of those “lowly” jobs in my youth. No illegals around then and you did what you had to do to help support the family.
I agree we must take personal responsibility for our own behavior, but is smaller gov going to make our mines safer, our food safe to eat, keep our streets clean and our bridges from collapsing?
And people wonder why I stay out of this world’s politics (don’t look at me, I didn’t vote for ANY of them). Politics thrive on the ability of people to see the weaknesses of every point of view but their own.
Even in a genuine theocratic monarchy (see below), there can be problems. How much more in a solution which is no solution at all, a federal republic?
