Venus, just because. In reality, they are both pretty inhospitable, so it really doesnt matter, but I like the idea of being a Venutian more than a Martian.

Its a joke that’s been done, but it is incrementally gaining in humour power as the time goes on.

We don’t have the technology to put people on Venus and have them live… as far as I know, even 24hrs, and possibly a lot less.

Mars colony 1 would have deaths, but after months due to supply issues, not hours due to technology failure (well, you hope.) We could probably manage to set them down, plant a flag, and return though. Is it worth it, yet?

I think I’d prefer a visit to Jupiter’s third moon “Io”. The company has a mining outpost there, and I’d like to say hello to Marshall William T. O’Niel before he retires…
