Ashamed to say it took Leonard Nimoy to make me finally kick myself in the butt and watch the entire Star Trek movie series from start to finish, which we just completed a few evenings ago. May his legacy live long and prosper.

They’re probably right, whoever their subjects are supposed to be. Heck, Twisted Sister just lost a drummer to cancer at 55, and the original drummer from Lynyrd Skynyrd wrapped his car around a tree at 64.

Most of my favourite actors are gone. Years ago I mentioned to my pre-pubescent daughter that I didn’t think of the current crop when somebody would mention “Stars,” I always picture John Wayne, Randolph Scott, Jimmy Stewart, Barbara Streisand, Maureen OHara, etc. etc.
