I’m sorry to contradict all you guys, but many people found Emily Dickinson to be very annoying at parties. She would take a few drinks and start behaving like a Dickinson.

As a matter of fact, Emily Dickinson was great fun at parties! Among other things, she invented the lampshade gag!
