Ishy provides so many services to his friend, Lio: pillow-fluffing, book-holding, light-providing—and all at once! It’s good to be a giant squid and have eight arms and two longer tentacles, all with suckers….
Sigh I so miss that magazine. Spy vs. Spy was a classic. The best part was the inside back page where you had a drawing, but when you folded it over into thirds, you got something quite different. Perhaps the strongest one was where after you folded it over the caption read “When Johnny Comes Marching Home” and instead of a rifle, it was a hypodermic needle over his shoulder.

Is Ishy just helping out or can he read with his tentacles also?

What, me worry? Just because I have an octopus under my bed?

How do you know that’s Ishy? I count only three tentacles.

Lio, don’t let Ishy fold you in!

Btw Mad is still around, just not what it used to be. Al Jaffee is still doing the fold-ins, last time I checked, and he must be 90 by now!

“Sigh I so miss that magazine.”-I miss the animated TV series that ran on Cartoon Network (2010-2013). It was called “the Robot Chicken for kids”

There was a spin-off mag called Mad Kids, but it had a short run.
