Affi……….. glad to hear that you aren’t going t o be a shooter with your military grade laser………To repeat……. these little bird shooters take the “man” out of of sportsman………
Good morning my friends.___________@afficionado: that angers me that the birds will not be protected. Can you have another vote next year? Big cheers for the police!___________@Gweedo: I like your idea. Send them to the Middle East.___________Be happy and healthy everyone.
It has been estimated that of the bird flocks shot at: 25% fall to the ground dead, 25% flutter to the ground wounded and die later, 25% are wounded and fall into the sea as they try to fly on, and 25% make it to their destination.
I guess you must be one of the rootin-tootin gun-slinger types who would like to shoot tigers in an enclosed area. If Affiie doesn’t like people who shoot doves (of all things!) then I will tell you that he (and I) are members of a VERY large club.
I remember a classic Andy episode where he was out painting the town red, came running in, panting, took a breather, then went back out. Flo commented to the reader summat like, “He’s getting past it, now when he paints the town red he has to take a rest between coats these days.” (If Eldo or somebody could find that one and post it, it would make all of our days!)

A commonly recognized currency in the Deep Space Nine universe. -As you may know Teresa had gotten married some time back and may only be coping with a “small life” issue. You must be weird, talking to the likes of me ! ;-) I read CDS in print and lost track of it since, and I remember when the news of his illness broke; not a specific date but that people were talking. -That Rick is a real bad guy !Go down to “Stalling your horse”. Some other “good” stuff on the page too. Wiley was kept in a small enclosure and has not been on the property lately. I walked right up the driveway one day and fed him an apple and rubbed his snoot. I think “Rick the Prick” has seen too much bad in horse handling that he comes down so hard about it. Beth Peterson from “Ten Cats” has the best horses. A testament to their handling. -I like the slide color, nice design too ! Looking forward to the shot. -Warmish and windy, but otherwise good.__________________________________________________
I learn something new every day!-I didn’t know Teresa got married as I don’t follow the strip and comments. Congratulations to her! -I enjoy talking to you. So do a lot of people on other strips. So they must be ‘weird’ too!-Thanks for that website. I read that somebody suggested that he should charge people $10 to answer questions. There was this woman who paid her $10 and she asked him a question… Only to be insulted and patronized by his truthful answer. She demanded her money back. You can’t see me but I’m shaking my head right now. -If I was there, I would rub Wiley’s snoot as well! I’m sure you would do the same with Merlin and Sebastian over at the stables near me.-I saw Beth’s horses in those photos you posted. They are indeed beautiful.-I have 3 other slides. 2 of them are butterflies, 2 of them are flowers.-Well… It’s Monday again. If I had a job, I could gripe about Mondays. I never will understand why retired people complain about Monday mornings. They no longer work anymore. What’s there to complain about?
Great classics, Eldo! I know I have the one I’m thinking of in one of my paperbacks but maybe it was a later one than I thought it was. I think most of mine would be from the mid-sixties, maybe early seventies. (I only have a couple of the real early ones when Andy was elongated nearly enough to scratch the neck of Don Martin’s legendary big fat freak……)
@Eldo: Wow! I haven’t seen an Argus camera in years. Somewhere I have an old Kodak Signet camera. I’ll have to see if I can find it and post a photo.________Anyone else got an old camera? If so, please, post a photo. Have an awesome evening my friends.
Eldo said about 3 hours ago: I have a “640” ….How about posting a photo of it. I worked with 2 guys (some years ago) who were professional photographers. They picked out my first 35mm. They taught me the basics of photography as well as how to process film and make prints. If you read this let me know tomorrow. Thanks. May all your photos be perfect.

According to Google info, Malta is the only EU country with spring recreational bird shooting. A sad distinction for such a nice little country……………

(Man in courtroom in front of Judge)Judge- You stand accused of shooting more than 2 birds in one day, six to be specific. How do you plead?
Your Honour, I plead not guilty by way of poor marksmanship. I was only aiming for one and the others got in the way………………………..
