Cathy: My body asked for water. I answered with a cheeseburger. OOPS. My body asked for protein. I answered with chips. OOPS. My body asked for fruit. I answered with a cupcake. OOPS. Here lies another victim of technology: Cathy: I no longer listen to the message. I just see that hunger called and respond with whatever I feel like popping into it's "in" box...

I knew she didn’t believe a word of what she was saying yesterday.

She’s been listening to her husband for too long, and she mixed up some of his message with hers.
Good morning, all!

I always make sure I get my fruit: banana cream pie; blueberry muffins and apple crisp…they’re good for me, right? Right?!? ;D

@Jascat, just as long as you leave out the deadly trio of salt, sugar, and fat, what’s left can’t help but be good for you.

Rina, I thnk you left out taste in your list. OK, you’re right as far as health goes, but most of us do love taste.
In fact, possibly that’s why we overeat and are the fattest nation on earth. (At least that’s what I read)

flong – what’s untasty about bananas, blueberries & apples.
funnyfan928 over 14 years ago
Ironicly though, a lot of us do this…we just don’t admit to it.

Hey there, lindz.coop! Bananas, blueberries & apples are all yummy, and I love ‘em. Watermelons, peaches and a host of other foods too.
Still, the problem is that so many of our foods are enhanced as far as tase goes by things we would probably be better off without.
Kind of like an addiction. I love muffins and ice cream and cream pies. Shouldn’t have them though. But they still call to me every time I wander through the supermarket.
By the way, I’m new at this. Does anyone know why I have a box around my previous comment? How do I get rid of it? Thanks.

I think the box is to let you know that it is your comment. Others don’t see it, I only see the boxes around my comments. Don’t think you can get rid of it.

How can anyone fall in love, much less marry, someone who only thinks with her stomach, her closet, and her purse?
