I was blessed to have a lawyer (small town) that gave a lot of legal advice for free. His fees were extremely reasonable, and would let you pay monthly if you had to. God rest his soul, he died several years ago. They just don’t make ‘em like that anymore. He loved the Wizard of ID comics that involved the W.C. Fields like attorney and the convict…always would give him a copy after church.

I wonder if there’s such a thing as “lawyer insurance,” to keep people from going broke every time they go to court?
