I keep having the hardest time waking up. ugh! im soo tired still its crazy

Buenos dias a todos.

I slept like the dead last night. Did not wake up once during the night and now that I have had my coffee, all is good.

Hola Cleo! I ‘m having my coffee now as well! It’s a lovely, cloudy, HOT day today. Waiting for my thunderstorms to come! I like to sit on the porch swing and watch them as they come down the valley!

I always like to swing and rock in a rocking chair. It’s so relaxing.

Yes, Cleo rocking chairs are great! Come to think of it, I haven’t used one since the kids were little. It’s in my attic! That’s not the place for it, is it?

No it is not Dry. I have liked to rock since I was a little kid. I had a little wooden rocker that had also been my dad’s when he was little. I would sit in the kitchen and rock as my mom worked. We had a linoleum floor and the rocking chair would slowly move across the floor. I remember sitting rocking in the chair when we first heard Elvis Presley singing “Hound Dog.” It’s funny what memories stick with you over the years.

I used to love my rocking chair as well. :0) not sure what happened to it. Its just not here anymore. :0( had a good time a church now im home and about to charge my phone and see waht we are doing with ana.

Hi Tabby. I still have a favorite rocking chair which looks kind of like the little one I had as a kid. It is an antique oak chair with a padded cushion and it is very well made and supports my bag wonderfully.

Oh gee, that reminds me also, both my boys have rocking chairs in the attic, that mom bought for them when they were little, solid oak, lovely! and Cleo I can hear that sound, rocker on linoleum as I type this. One of the houses we lived in when I was a kid had what I always thought of as 2 living rooms, one was carpeted, the other was linoleum and that’s where the rocker was, in the room with the linoleum! And yes, you could do some traveling in that thing! LOL!

My rocker is now unfortunately in a guest bedroom. There was no room in the living room once we bought our new couch and love seat a couple of months ago. There isn’t much incentive to go read in a bedroom when the chairs and couches in the living room (with floor to ceiling windows) are so comfortable.

that”s too bad, Cleo! do you have an enclosed porch where you could move it?

No. I would have it in my office, but this is where we watch our movies on the computer and LilG prefers my Stressless chair.

So, what have you been up to today Dry? It has been raining most of the day here so I have been reading a book.

Just finished watching “Avatar” it was a d a r n good movie i think. I enjoyed it. Now its to see what to do the rest of the evening i should pack, but i was told Ana needs rescuing, from a cranky Granny. I should study but packing needs to be done. i should sleep but its to early. lol

oh what to do waht to do what to do? i think run and hide sounds the best.

Cleo went out for dinner, went to Lowe’s, bought some plants, took out the garbage,(woo hoo exciting day here! LOL!) raining here too, but haven’t heard any thunder, sigh!

We rarely get thunder, even rarer is sheet lightning and extremely rare is bolt lightning.

so im packing and just to make my sad frined smile i labled one bag “closet” :) she she tells me oh just come out already. lol Its a joke we have had since forever bc we are best friends.

LOL! Been happening to me lately too. I notice just the slightest little second click does it! Gota watch my “trigger finger”!

With me there is no second click. It just every so often does it on it’s own. Oh well.

Well, I am back, slow night here I can see.

JFri you should be home by now. I left a Booker’s on the counter next to a dish of dark chocolate pudding. Dry I left yours well away from JFri;s. I figured avoiding temptation is not a strong suit.

oh and one of these days these two are gonna wake up in the morning and i wont be here and they are gonna be wondering and worrying. they keep locking me out of the house and im gonna stay at S’s house.
