Was she happy that he will spend time with her?!Does Godfrey like him?!

i have a feeling she went yess cause nate will NOT go to summer school and therefore she will not have to spend time with him!

So this could mean that Godfrey is glad that nate wont be going to summer school and she would have to see him everyday, or that she wants to ruin nate’s life and is glad he got a “91”

we shall see tomorrow hopefully!

No summer school means Nate and Gina hit it off over the summer.

I’m sure Nate passed. What teacher in their right mind, after spending nine months with their students, would actually want to be cursed with another 8 weeks with them. Would kind of ruin their vacation, don’t you think?

He passed. Her tutor plan worked, Gina was the successful teacher and she won’t have to spend 8 more weeks with Nate.

She gets to be smug AND tout Gina.

She’s happy so he must have gotten the 92.

summer school could be beneficial. I learned coding, science(physics), math(trig), at summer school. A lot of it was in the morning, so the afternoons were free. And, tv during the summer sucks.

I think he’s going to summer school.

Why would she be glad to have to spend eight weeks with Nate in summer school? I think he passed, though Teach may have fudged the results by a point or two.

He probably bagged it……if he hadn’t, she likely would’ve gone “Cripes!!” with her face all scrunched up in what Herman Melville described (on Queequeg, once…) as “an unearthly expression of disdain”……..Mrs. G, in P4, looks almost at complete peace!!

I think Nate passed but not sure cuz of Godfrey’s evil smile (that smile scared me)! Need tomorrows comic…

Of course he got the 92! Mrs. G is not really a mean person, nor a bad teacher, so there’s no way she would be pleased to have one of her students do poorly. When you work really hard to teach kids something, the ones who just don’t/won’t get it only make you sad.

Ya gotta have enough kids sign up for summer school for the teachers to have their summer jobs teaching it.

I guess things have changed a lot. When I was in school way back when, if you didn’t pass the majority of your subjects, you didn’t get promoted to the next grade. You had to repeat the grade you failed. There was no promoting to the next grade up just to get them moved along. There was no summer school to make up for failing subjects.

Nate isn’t going to summer school, I’m wagering.

Mra. Godfrey is a lot of things, but she’s not the type that would root for a student’s failure.

So Nate needs a 92 to avoid summer school. Doing the math, considering this test is 50 percent of the semester grade, that means that if a C-minus avoids summer school, Nate’s average for rest of the semester was a 48.

92 or not, he should go to summer school.

I go along that Nate got the 92 he needed. That’s Mrs. Godfrey’s Happy Dance.
