I would have thought it was Nick Lowe’s “Cruel to be Kind.”

I have to love this!

I would’ve guessed “Love Hurts”, myself. Or maybe even “I’ve Grown Accustomed To Her Face”, giving more benefit of the doubt…

All things considered, though, “There’s A Hole In The Bucket” is perfect for them. This one may stand the test of time as a classic.

I’m going to suggest this song to the love of my life. It never ends, as Flo and Andy never will.

For some reason Flo negative response brings out some what different here on lyrics. Andy might have liked ours. My future husband choice Time In A Bottle persay there where so objections until he explained why he requested the song and different then what Andy would think.

Sounds about right for Flo and Andy.

I figured more along the lines of Ugly Kid Joe’s “I hate everything about you”

Flo’s negativity about life once again surfaces.

We all know someone like Flo. Someone who’s life is just one terrible disappointment after another. No hope. Always whining to friends and family of how bad their life is. Always looking for someone else to blame.

All we can do is wonder. If Flo had married someone else, would she be any different than she is today?

Andy always gets teary eyed when that song is played. He thinks its about a bucket of beer.

the gist of the song-“there’s a hole in my bucket” is that Henry keeps thinking of ways not to fix it. just like Andy does with household chores/

May I suggest: Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off?
