Yes, they are cart herders at the grocery store. They build trebuchets, too. (I’m sure I spelled that incorrectly)

Sad little toy for a sad little brother….Dill is so cheery despite the way his brothers treat him! It’s a good thing he has Alice (his future wife, I feel sure), even though she can be rough on him, too.

I like Dill’s toy. But I won’t try to take it from him.

“I usually take it out only at night so nobody’ll see it.” Don’t say that right in front of the toy, you insensitive clod!

From all the stories Dill has told about his brothers, I think he is the youngest of a dozen boys, unless the Uh-oh baby is his younger brother and nobody knows it.

Personally, I wish there were MORE toys like this one on the market for the kids of today. It might encourage them to be creative, rather than simply being told exactly what to do, (or worse, what buttons to press) as with most modern toys. I can see something like this enjoying lots of diverse scenarios during play dates!

Children with vivid imaginations will make toys out of anything. As I’ve said, the youngest grandkid creates all kinds of scenarios with the “tomato” that goes down the bathtub drain.
