Feels really weird to have Gasoline Alley bypass Memorial Day without a mention, no?

remember not long ago there was an extended storyline supporting the war museum. I think Jim Scancarelli is a patriot, but I do find it odd to not take a one day break from this circus to honor all service men and women. Happy Memorial Day everyone and God bless our troops home and abroad

I wish to protest Mr. Scancarelli or is your timing off. This is a day to remember those who died for our freedom and continue today to protect of from enemy’s who wish to destroy like what happened in 2000 and the attempts in NYC. Many more This strip could have waited a day while you honored the veterans who fought and showed respect.

I wish to honor all veterans this day who made sacrifices. I honored my dad who served long before I came he was in the Army. This Memorial Day Weekend.

@Kab Buch: Your protest is right, but your timing about the year is off. It’s September 11, 2001. Not that it matters to the rat-@%$#& that did this. They want us to live back in some dated culture. No radios, no TV’s, no music, no having to put pictures on the walls in your own homes! Do you want that to happen here?! Lord no! That why we live in the land of the free and home of the brave! End of rant! Happy Memorial Day everyone!

The story line is lame but we have survived worse.

The neglect of Memorial day at Gasoline Alley is sad.

I understand Joe-Allen’s sentiment but this day has been observed for a century and a half and will endure.

9/11 will be remembered but eventually it will be relegated to the status of “Remember the Maine” or “Remember the Alamo” but in a few decades might still be be at the status of December 7.
