Margueritem, I said I’d put this up early, so……..

    NOMAD Verse 2

Over the hill or down ‘round some bend, I might get lucky and find a new friend. For friends are rare though always sought out, While aquainances are to be found all about. So I’m always looking, where ever I go For onr never knows when a friend may show. Friendship is something you can’t just arrange…. And I’ve seen so many faces ain’t a one looks strange.

Well I been here, and I’ve been there, But I’m still a long way from everywhere I’ve lived in the city and out on the range, And I’ve seen so many faces ain’t a one looks strange

We had to do that stupid marching to “Mr. Music”……They gave us a cookie….LMAO………DO BEE (this) DONT BEE (that)……..we had to dress the little weather figure to coincide with the weather of the day….etc, etc, ad nauseum

I still remember our little excercise song…..don’t even ask Marg.

Well just 11 days for the American Sub Directorate to catch the Butcher.

We’ve already been told Annie’s problem will be left ‘hanging’, unresolved; so the most we can hope for before it ends, is to have the satisfaction of a resolution on the perpetrator

Just adding to what Sydney said, although the current storyline will be left uresolved on June 13th, Go Comics said in an e-mail I received that there is a possibility this strip can go into some form of reruns, although the matter is left entirely up to TMS’ discretion. Guess June 14th will tell the tale. Stay tuned.

Yes, Leaky, the Butcher of the Balkans was very dangerous. He was notorious for his low cuts of meat and poor sanitary conditions at his shop. ;)

Hey Shirttail Slim, I’m actually a big fan & play in a tribute band. This is a real album cover of the lads, no photoshopping needed. Here’s a link to a site that explains the story. I wish I had one of these album covers. They go for up to $40,000!

    Peace.

Nice bit of historical background, Bob. Thanks for sharing this with Beatles fans. I’ve known of this cover for some time, but always thought it was released in England where they’re somewhat more tolerant of things. Glad for your clarification.

Yeah, thanks Bassman…that was interesting! So you play in a tribute band? Cool!! I recently had the pleasure of seeing an excellent tribute band , “Rain”, play, and it was awesome!

BASSMANBOB, I never thought for a second that you disliked them. The Beatles are eternal. There may be some classical lovers out there that wouldn’t want to admit it. But I have never met anybody who dissed the Beatles. I sing some of their songs when I kakaoke’ and even have one in my limited repertoire. Guess? It’s one of the least heard.
