I believe the weekend warriors are aware of your disgust. I also believe that they just don’t care.

Premature Expectation…

Auntie ,I so agree ! I worked weekends ,holidays ,3-11’s or 11-7am for 25 years and loved it ! The only fly in the ointment was the smugnest of the mon -fri. day shifters !

What’s worse is being retired. Every morning when you wake up, you’re thinking ‘What day is it?’

I work 7 days a week, sadly. Well, I actually love my job, but it would be nice to have a day off now and then.

Or when you are dealing with them on Saturday or Sunday and they say “Enjoy your weekend.”

I sent this to a friend who started a new job where she’s stuck working weekends until she gets some seniority.
