Just a normal type of situation, wife gets a ‘head of steam-up about something and she AUTOMATICALLY includes the husband whether he WANTS it or not. I’ve learned to listen very carefully at certain time ! ! ! ! !
I’m surprised Elly has the time and energy to do this. Put that passion to good use Elly! Lavish it on the family and then come here to whine about it, so we can comment on it! ; )
When the city of Anaheim outgrew its Carnegie Library, the books, etc. were moved to a modern new building and the old historical building was converted into a popular museum. Nice to see that they had the ability and desire to keep the building in use and restored.
@exturk—-Pretty close. I haven’t heard the joke repeated in many years, but it went something like: The Lone Ranger & Tonto were surrounded by a large band of take no prisoners alive, Indians/Redskins. The Lone Ranger says to Tonto, well,it looks like there is no way out of this desperate situation, & WE are doomed to die. Tonto replies: What do you mean WE, white man.
@Tarred—-I think you are correct. Like I said, it has been decades since I heard the whole joke, but I still hear people try to use the punchline, often incorrectly.
@USN1977—-This comic site has moderators who spot check the comments & also a red flag (appears at the bottom left of the comment, & direct replies to the comment are on the right) to click on if you find a comment offensive. If you are “Red Flagged” by anyone, & the moderators see it (which they will if the red flag is triggered), you may be banned from further comments for a certain time, or forever, depending on how offensive the comment(s) were.
@USN1977—-I forgot to mention that the red flag & direct reply symbols only show up if you are logged in. There is also a delete symbol next to the reply, should it accidentally put your comment in more than once (which sometimes happens), or if you decide for whatever reason, just to delete your comment.
@USN1977—-Offensive can mean different things to different readers, & I understand what you are saying about censorship. I assume that somewhere on this site might be some general rules, but I didn’t check. You might want to ask Night-Gaunt49 about it, as he got banned for quite a period of time, & was only recently allowed back to make comments.

Didn’t that line come from a Lone Ranger and Tonto joke?

How do people get “cast out” of this website?
JennyJenkins over 9 years ago
I’m thinking that the “we” is referring to her community, not just John…but that’s just me.
